Mrs. Barbara Sue Avery (nee: Boehm), of Broken Arrow, OK, passed away on Tuesday, April 9. She was born on February 21, 1941, in Hermann, to the late Walter and Lillian Boehm.
Those who will remain grateful for having shared in Barbara's life are her daughters, Christine Mandry and Jan Miller; her grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and one brother, Kenny Boehm; and many other dear relatives and friends. Barbara is preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Alton Avery; a son, Michael James Avery; a sister; two brothers; and her parents.
A memorial visitation for Barbara will be held from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. on Friday, April 26, with an 11 a.m. Celebration of Life service to immediately follow at Family Community Church in Warrenton. Lunch will be provided after the service. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for memorial donations to support the John 3:16 Mission for the Hurting & Homeless in Broken Arrow, OK.
