Barbara Ann Hollaway, 81, Wright City, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2020.
Barbara was born November 25, 1938, in Alton, Illinois, to Joseph and Lorna Klinke nee Newell.
Barbara was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and TOPS. She worked as a telephone operator as a young lady and then went on and attended Lewis and Clark College to become an R.N. She worked at St. Anthony's for nearly 10 years. Barbara enjoyed volunteering at Agape Resale Shop, she was a great baker and enjoyed baking cookies for the local ambulance and fire department that was just down the road from her.
Barbara is survived by her three sons, Todd Gipson, of Wright City, Thomas (Donna) Gipson, of Mt. Olive, Illinois, and Timothy (Barbara) Gipson, of Burleson, Texas; daughter, Angela Rider, of Mt. Olive, Illinois; two brothers, Ralph Klinke, of Denton, Texas, and Jarvis (Sue) Klinke, of Carrollton, Illinois; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren; She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Klinke, and mother, Lorna Klinke.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 6, 2020, at Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton, 9-10:30 a.m.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 6, 2020, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Warrenton, at 11 a.m.
