Anita A. Chute, age 69 of Greenville, passed away peacefully at her home, Saturday, November 30.
Anita Ann, the daughter of Richard J. and Irma G. (Wiklison) Mertens, was born November 26, 1955, in Washington. She grew up near Warrenton, attended Holy Rosary grade school and graduated from Warrenton High School. Anita graduated from the University of Missouri Rolla with a degree in Chemical Engineering. She worked for McDonnell-Douglas, now Boeing as a Materials & Process engineer in St. Louis until retirement in 2011. It was at work where she and her husband Rod met.
Anita and Rodney Craig Chute were united in marriage on February 13, 1993. THey have enjoyed 31 years of marriage. Anita is survived by her husband Rod, daughters Rachel, Renee and Anna; sisters Suzie, Charlen, Janice and Laura; brothers Jack and Mike. She was a loving grandmother to Daniel Wilson.
Anita was preceded in death by her son Daniel Issa Chute, parents, and grandparents.
Her most cherished things in life were God, Family and gardening. Anita was a faithful Christian and loved sharing with family and friends.
