Mrs. Angela Meyer, of Troy, passed away on Tuesday, March 10. She was born on December 24, 1930 to the late Walter and Stella (nee: Telesky) Anderson. Angela had reached the age of 95.
Angela was united in marriage to Ivan Eugene Meyer on November 18, 1950 in St. Louis. This union was blessed with two children, John and Becky. Angela was a homemaker for most of her adult life. She loved caring for her family and her home. She enjoyed restoring wood furniture and sewing. She was a wonderful seamstress and also loved being outside working in her garden. She was the church organist for many years and also enjoyed singing. Angela had a passion for missions and children and was involved with CEF for several years. She also had a knack for having her favorite birds return every year by keeping the Hummingbird feeders full. Angela loved her family deeply, loved her church, but especially loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Angela Meyer was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ivan; her parents,Walter and Stella; two siblings, Beatrice Nitchman and Earl Anderson. She is survived by her children, John Eric Meyer and wife Jeanine and Becky Robinson and husband Kerry; four grandchildren, Angie Yoder (Mahlon), John Edwin Meyer, Kyle Robinson, Kameron Robinson; six great grandchildren, Elli, Beth, Nate, Noah, Vera and Mary; other relatives and many friends.
A visitation for Angela will be held on Wednesday, March 18, from 10 A.M. - 11 A.M. at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. Funeral services will begin at 11 A.M., also at the funeral home. A committal service will immediately follow at Lippstadt Cemetery in Warrenton. Memorial donations are suggested to be given to the Samaritan's Purse.
