Amy Lynn Woodside, of Jonesburg, MO., passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at her parent’s home in Wentzville. Amy was born on February 18, 1981, in North County to Paul Woodside and Terri Wright. She had reached the age of 40 years.
Amy was a kind, vivacious woman. She had a smile that would light up the room and a laugh that matched. She was a friend to everyone and if you were lucky enough to be loved by Amy, she loved you with her whole heart. She loved her daughters, Kylee and Charlee with everything she had. She was so proud of them both and never hesitated to tell you just how proud and lucky she was to have them both. They were the light of her life. She raised them to be strong, confident and to always treat people with respect. She taught them to be kind, to work hard, to reach for their goals, and love everyone in their life. Amy could sing, dance, tell stories and make you laugh until it hurt. She could talk and listen to and hug each of her friends because she genuinely cared about each one of them. It did not matter when you had seen her or spoke to her last, she was there for anyone and everyone. Amy loved her family. She loved spending days, evenings, weekends, etc. with her sisters. They had fun, they laughed, cried, talked, fought, and loved deeply. Amy was present in life, with her girls, her sisters, her parents, and friends. She lived life strong and touched so many lives with her love and laughter.
Amy Woodside was preceded in death by her sister, Jill Diane Woodside; grandparents, Robert and Joan Woodside. Those who are grateful for having shared in Amy’s life are her loving daughters, Kylee Woodside and Charlee Jo Woodside; her parents, Paul Woodside and Terri Wright; three sisters, Heather Woodside (Joe Stulce), Rebecca Purschke, and Catherine Woodside (Darren McDaniel); nieces and nephews, Jackson, Ella, Timmy, Saige, Grant, and Nate; Grandparents, Glenn and Toodie Wright; other relatives and many, many friends.
