Amber L. Otke passed away on November 19, 2021 at the age of 97. Amber was born December 4, 1923 in St. Louis, MO to Claude and Lucille Meyer nee Usher.
Amber loved entertaining, cooking, traveling, and visiting with her family and friends. She was very active with Grace Bible Church in Warrenton. She enjoyed life to the fullest and was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her two daughters, Judith (Steve) Mutchler of Saint Louis, MO, Sylva (Ed) Travers of Pickens, SC; son, Steve (Deborah) Otke of Gerald, MO; two grandsons, Rick Neubauer III, Daniel Mutchler; two granddaughters, Shellie Neubauer, Kc (Will Carpenter) Mutchler; great-grandson, West Carpenter.
She is preceded in death by her father, Claude E. Meyer, mother, Lucille Meyer, husband, Sylvester Otke, brother, Donald Meyer, brother, Ivan Meyer, brother, Ed Meyer.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021, from 12 pm to 1 pm at Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton. Funeral services will also be held at Pitman Funeral Home immediately following the visitation. Amber will be laid to rest at Lippstadt Cemetery in Warrenton. The family requests that masks be worn during visitation and funeral service.
