He served in various church, community, and municipal volunteer positions and was the co-founder of Inspirations Cancer Support Group. Albert loved spending time with his family, but he was always the happiest when he was with his late beloved wife, Jean.

Albert was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 65 years, Jean Briggs; his parents; two brothers, James B. Briggs and G. Howard Briggs; and three sisters, Mary Briggs, Sarah Moxley and Cara Withers. Albert was a dear uncle, cousin and friend to many; he will be missed by all who knew him.
