To The Editor:I have lived in Wright City with my family for 11 years. In 2017 we had a tragic fire and lost our home. Due to the four-person fire crew and the mutual aid from the neighboring fire districts, we were able to salvage some of our belongings. If Prop S doesn’t pass in August, we will only have two firefighters on the truck and will likely lose our neighboring districts’ support due to lack of our fire district’s ability to reciprocate.I have also learned that if we no longer have four firefighters on each truck, our community’s ISO rating may change and that change will cause an increase in our homeowners insurance rates. Please stop by Station 1 and ask any of the Wright City firefighters questions, if you have any, and vote YES on Prop S.Valerie FoustWright City
