A car accident occurred during the early morning of Sept. 16 in St. Charles County on the eastbound Interstate 70 ramp to Veterans Memorial Parkway when Dianna Hodges, 39, of Wentzville struck a large wheel and tire that was in the roadway, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Haylie Crabtree, 27, of Wright City, attempted to avoid Hodges, but was unsuccessful, and struck the rear of her vehicle. Shawn Kloda, 37, of O’Fallon, did the same and struck Hodges’ vehicle as well.
Crabtree was the only one hurt in the accident, according to the crash report. She was transported to Progress West Hospital by the St. Charles County Ambulance District.
