Jessica Teson, 43, of Wright City and Danny Schieffer, 40, of Sidney, Mont. were traveling west on Interstate 64 in St. Charles County late in the evening on Sept. 5 when Teson failed to maintain her lane, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The front left side of Teson’s vehicle then struck the rear right side of a trailer being towed by Schieffer. She then traveled off the left side of the roadway and her vehicle overturned.
Teson received moderate injuries in the accident and was transported to SSM St. Joseph Hospital West by the St. Charles County Ambulance District. Schieffer did not report any injuries and was able to drive his vehicle from the scene.
Teson’s vehicle was totaled.
