Wright City will celebrate its annual Christmas Parade at 6 p.m. Dec. 7.
Following the parade, the Smokey and the Bandit tribute group Eastbound and Down will perform at Diekroeger Park.
The event includes a tree lighting, cookies and hot chocolate, s’mores, and letters and photos with Santa, according to information on the Wright City Park Department’s Facebook page.
City officials are encouraging anyone who wants to be a part of the parade to show up, similar to the way the Strassenbash parade worked.
The parade will also follow the same route as Strassenbash.
Anyone with questions can call the city’s parks department at 636-745-2804.
The city will also have its Breakfast With Santa event from 7 to 11 a.m. Dec. 9 in the Heiliger Building at Diekroeger Park.
