Wright City will once again host its annual Strassenbash at Diekroeger Park on Oct. 5.
The day’s events will begin with the pancake breakfast at the Wright City Fire Protection District’s Station one from 7:30-11 a.m. before the parade starts later that morning at 11 a.m. running from First Street to Diekroeger Park.
There will also be a Kids Scavenger hunt that will be available all day along with the Bubble Bus from 12-5 p.m. and a rock wall, soccer darts, a dry slide and the bounce house from 12-8 p.m. and face painting and a balloon artist from 1-5 p.m.
All vendors will be opening their booths at noon along with the beer garden, which will remain open until 11 p.m.
Live music will start at 2 p.m. with Dawgs in the Smokehouse playing until 6 p.m. before the Big Rigs Band takes to the pavilion at 7 p.m. There will also be a movie for any children in attendance from 7-10 p.m.
