A Wright City teen was hospitalized with minor injuries after a crash Nov. 5 on Highway 47 at the North Outer Road intersection.
The crash occurred at 6:20 p.m., according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report.
The report indicates that the unnamed 17-year-old female failed to obey a traffic control signal while driving eastbound on the North Outer Road in her 2010 Honda Accord.
That caused a 2019 Jeep Cherokee driven by Melissa Winters, 37 of Warrenton, to strike the 17-year-old's vehicle.
The 17-year-old suffered minor injuries and was transported by Warren County EMS to SSM Health St. Joseph Lake St. Louis.
The accident report states that both drivers were wearing their safety devices, but it is unclear if the 17-year-old had insurance.
Both vehicles suffered extensive damage and were towed from the scene.
