The Wright City Lady Wildcats extended their winning streak to three games last week.
Wright City (6-3) beat Living Word Christian to win their third consecutive game. They scored two first half goals. They added a third goal in the second half.
Hannah Kendall paced the Wright City offensive attack with two goals. Paige Kirn scored one goal. Kirn, Alex Sutter and Abigail Unterreiner were each credited with one assist.
Wright City’s winning streak ended Tuesday with a 5-1 home loss to St. Charles West.
Wright City surrendered three first half goals and trailed 3-0 at halftime. They were outscored 2-1 by St. Charles West in the second half. Kendall scored the lone goal for the Lady Wildcats in the game against St. Charles West.
Wright City has several home games scheduled over the next week. They are slated to host Lutheran North and Hazelwood East Thursday and Friday. Both games are scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. They are also scheduled to host Winfield Monday at 4:30 p.m.
