Wright City resident Kim Fast was recognized for her efforts saving a neighbor from a house fire in October 2024 by Sen. Eric Schmitt at the May 22 Wright City Board of Aldermen meeting.
“The truth is not everyone would have run into that burning building, but Kim did. Kim Fast is truly a champion of Missouri, she embodies selfless service, her remarkable bravery, compassion and dedication exemplify the highest standards of community service,” read Mayor Michelle Heiliger from the proclamation.
