Wright City R-II Director of Finance Veronica Klaus recently earned her SFO (School Finance and Operations) Certification.
Klaus was honored with this achievement at the Missouri Association of School Business Officials conference.
According to ASBO, this certification shows that Klaus has, “the knowledge, expertise and fiscal credibility to lead their school district and effectively manage its finances.”
Klaus fulfilled multiple requirements to reach this career milestone, including having certification eligibility through work experience and education, passing an exam which tests competency in accounting and school business management topics and following the ASBO’s International Certification Code of Conduct.
R-II Superintendent Amy Salvo stated, “This is a tremendous accomplishment and a testament to her dedication, expertise, and commitment to professional growth. I am incredibly proud of Mrs. Klaus and her contributions to the success of Wright City R-II. Her hard work and continued pursuit of excellence make a meaningful impact on our district, and I have no doubt that this certification will further enhance the great work she is already doing.”
