The Wright City R-II School District has promoted Keesha Fife to its administrative team.
Fife, who is currently an English-Language Arts teacher at Wright City Middle School, will become an assistant principal at East Elementary for the 2026-27 school year.
“I am excited to begin this journey at East Elementary, where collaboration, high expectations, and a shared commitment to scholars guide everything we do,” Fife said. “Together, we will continue to grow and achieve great things.”
Fife brings more than 25 years of experience in education, having served as a teacher, principal, and instructional consultant in a variety of school settings, including international environments.
According to a district release, Fife is known for ‘her student-centered approach and her ability to drive academic growth through thoughtful use of data, strategic planning, and equitable leadership practices.’
The release added that throughout her career, Fife has focused on building strong, inclusive school communities by supporting teachers, strengthening instruction, and creating opportunities for all students to succeed.
