The Wright City girls and boys basketball teams begin the Class 3, District 6 tournaments Monday and Tuesday, respectively, at O'Fallon Christian.The Wright City girls (2-18) received the No. 8 seed and take on No. 1 Duchesne (21-4) Monday at 3:30 p.m.The Pioneers are led by junior forward Katie Sportsman, who averages 14.3 points and 6.5 rebounds per outing.Senior forward Savannah Pieper (9.2 points, 6.1 rebounds) and junior forward Natalie Schroeder (8.9 points, 7.8 rebounds) have been consistent threats for Duchesne this season, as well.The Wildcats counter with senior guard Savannah Bridges, who leads the team with 7.8 points and 5.1 rebounds.
