The city of Wright City has contracted with Lewis-Bade Inc. to begin design work for improvements to the sidewalk along the north side of the North Outer Road of Interstate 70.The improvements will include the sidewalk from the Highway J/Elm Street overpass going west to Westwoods Road.“This project has been on our radar for some time now and is one of many infrastructure improvements to roads and sidewalks that the city is committed to improving” said Mayor Dan Rowden. “This work will provide a safer path for those who want to walk from one side of the highway to the other.”Design work should be completed this spring and construction is planned to be completed this year.Sidewalk
