A Wright City man who led police on a vehicle pursuit that topped speeds of 100 mph is facing multiple criminal charges from the incident.David Bradley Peterson, 38, of the 100 block of South Circle Drive, was charged Monday with two felony counts for drug possession and one felony count for resisting arrest. A warrant was issued Monday. His bond has been set at $30,000.A Wright City police officer observed Peterson driving a vehicle on Aug. 10 and knew there was an active warrant for his arrest. A traffic stop was initiated, but Peterson allegedly sped off and began heading east on Interstate 70. During the pursuit, he was traveling 120 mph, police reported. Peterson then fled on foot after he lost control of his car near the 203-mile marker.During a search of the vehicle, prescription pills were located, according to the probable cause statement.Crime
