A Wright City man was hospitalized with minor injuries after a car crash on Interstate 270 on 11:50 p.m. Dec. 25.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report, 28-year-old Sean D. McCracken was traveling southbound on I-270 south of Tesson Ferry Road in St. Louis County in his 2016 Honda Civic when he struck the rear end of a a 2014 Toyota Corolla driven by Virginia R. Schodroski, 80 of St. Louis.
McCracken's vehicle then struck the median wall before overturning. Schodroski's vehicle traveled off the west side of the roadway.
Both drivers were transported by the Mehlville Fire Protection District to Mercy Hospital South after the crash. Both were listed as having suffered minor injuries.
The accident report also indicates that McCracken was driving without insurance.
Both vehicles were listed as totaled and towed from the scene.
