A Warren County man found guilty Tuesday in a federal drug trafficking conspiracy is scheduled to be sentenced in December.James L. Milliner, 44, Wright City, was convicted at the close of a two-day trial in U.S. District Court.Judge Rodney Sippel set sentencing for Dec. 20. Milliner is facing a maximum sentence of 10 years to life in prison in the case. Milliner was one of 10 people indicted in July 2011 following a federal investigation into a conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine.According to testimony at the trial, Milliner and others sold large amounts of crack cocaine at an open air market in Wright City from 2007 through 2011.Seven other defendants previously pleaded guilty to charges and were given sentences ranging from probation to 136 months in federal prison. They are: Charles E. McRoberts, 36, Wentzville; Dante M. Brandt, 25, Wright City; Porsheia I. Barnes, 32, Moscow Mills; Christopher D. Adams, 34, Wright City; Antwaun M. Nunn, 46, Wright City; Cipriano M. Garcia, 38, Moscow Mills; and James E. Simpson, 50, Wright City. Two other defendants who pleaded guilty and are awaiting sentencing are Michael B. Rogers, 48, and Halesha C. Bradshaw, 38, both of Wright City.The case was investigated by the Warren and Lincoln sheriff’s departments, the East Central Drug Task Force and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
