A Wright City man is facing a felony child abuse charge in connection with an incident last June.Franklin L. Sutton, 41, was arrested Wednesday, Aug. 28, the same day the felony charge was issued in Warren County Circuit Court. The charge stems from a June 22 incident involving a 5-year-old girl, according to reports. A Warren County deputy responded June 25 to a home in Truesdale and took a report in the case.The victim, who sustained bruises on her legs and back, told authorities that Sutton had kicked her, according to reports.
