A Wright City man was charged with two counts of unlawful use of a firearm for allegedly brandishing a firearm following the Sky Wars event Sept. 27 at 11:40 p.m.
According to a probable cause affidavit filed by the Warren County Sheriff’s Department the two victims reported to the deputy that while trying to merge into traffic twice with a vehicle driven by Joshua Bishop, 46, Wright City, they observed Bishop turn on his interior light and pull out a firearm stating, “fuck around and find out”
Following the incident the deputy said when speaking to Bishop he confirmed he had a firearm located in the front pocket of his overalls and did turn on the interior light of his vehicle so the victims could see him, according to the affidavit. The firearm was later seized.
On Oct. 16 a no bond warrant was issued for Bishop’s arrest.
