A Wright City man accused of stealing equipment from a Warren County farm last year has been charged in a felony complaint.Joshua J. Epperson, 29, is charged with stealing property valued at more than $500.On Dec. 23, Rick Rehmeier reported the theft of four hog feeders, an 18-volt Dewalt drill, a Hot Shot electric livestock prod and a Rainway valve. Rehmeier said the items were on his property, in the 30000 block of Raul Road, on Dec. 20, and were missing on Dec. 21. The value of the stolen items was estimated at $1,165.During the police investigation, officers obtained a photocopy of Joshua Epperson’s drivers license, a receipt for items and surveillance footage from Warrenton Recycling. Rehmeier confirmed the items at Warrenton Recycling were his stolen items.The video from Warrenton Recycling shows Epperson selling the four hog feeders on Dec. 21.Epperson admitted that he took the hog feeders and later sold them to Warrenton Recycling, according to reports.A $10,000 bond was set in that case.In a separate case, Epperson pleaded guilty March 4 to a felony stealing charge in a Dec. 18, 2013, incident. He was given a five-year suspended sentence and placed on five years’ supervised probation in that case.
