Criminal charges have been filed against a Wright City man accused of stealing an archery bow from a residence in July.Joshua M. Avery, 29, of the 200 block of Trotters Creek Drive, was charged last week with felony second-degree burglary and misdemeanor stealing. According to the probable cause statement, a property owner told Wright City police the bow and a television had been stolen from their home June 10.Detectives observed muddy footprints from the deck of the home and photographs taken at the scene matched the pattern of Avery’s shoes when he was interviewed July 13, police said.Charged
