A Wright City man faces charges for allegedly assaulting his wife earlier this month. Jermaine G. Daniels, 29, is charged with second-degree domestic assault after police say he choked his wife several times and threw her to the floor. Daniels allegedly also flourished a gun during the Oct. 22 incident, police said.According to court documents, Wright City police responded to the 500 block of Falcons Flight in reference to a domestic assault in progress. Police entered the residence and observed Daniels standing at the top of a stairwell, his right hand concealed inside a doorway. Daniels allegedly had a pistol in one hand when police ordered him to raise both hands above his head. He was ordered several times to drop his weapon and eventually complied, police said.His bond was set at $5,000.Wright City Man Charged With Assault
