A Warren County man who is accused of having sex with a teenage girl is facing multiple felony charges in St. Charles County. Donald E. Rentsch, 27, Wright City, is facing two charges of first-degree statutory rape and four charges of first-degree statutory sodomy, according to the St. Charles Prosecuting Attorney's Office. A $250,000 cash-only bond was set in the case, according to court records. Rentsch's listed address is in the 70 block of Sleepy Lane, court records show. According to the O'Fallon Police Department, Rentsch had sexual intercourse with the 13-year-old victim who was identified as a family member. The incidents occurred between Jan. 15 and Feb. 13 at a residence in the 600 block of Eastbrook Lane in O'Fallon, authorities reported. The victim lived in the same residence as Rentsch, police stated. During an interview with authorities, Rentsch allegedly admitted to the offenses, according to the probable cause statement.
