The Wright City football team honored the first ever football team in school history before their homecoming game on Oct. 11. The program started in the fall of 2000, with the team playing at the junior varsity level. Members from the original team were brought back to meet some of the current players and captains on the team, and both past and present players signed a football helmet to mark the day.
