The Wright City girls golf team opened up their season at the Boonville Par Three Event on Aug. 30.
Morgan Nute finished first overall with a score of 58 shooting two over par. Rylee Schafer ended the tournament with a score of 85, Abby Schanuel scored 82, Bailey Padgett finished with a score of 100 and Zucely Uribe ended with a score of 97.
The Wildcats started their season strong, placing fourth overall as a team out of 17 schools with a final score of 322.
Eldon won the tournament, Osage placed second and Southern Boone took home third place overall.
