Wright City rolled out a new website this week that city staff hope will be appealing and useful for residents.“We were wanting to bring the website more up to date, a fresher look and easier to use,” said City Clerk Karen Girondo. The new site features a clean, modern layout, and is designed to work well with smartphones and tablets. Girondo said the website is still a work in progress, but residents who want to pay a bill online will be able to do so uninterrupted.Other information is still being added from the old site, Girondo said. The rollout was done earlier than expected because of technical problems with the old site. City staff emails, which are processed through the website, had been malfunctioning for more than a month, Girondo said. Messages and important documents were sometimes not being received, leading to confusion or delays in city business.Emails are working well again now that the new site is up and running, Girondo said.WRIGHT CITY NEW WEBSITE
