Joey Gendron and Jeremiah Davis each accounted for two touchdowns and Wright City beat Mark Twain 21-6 Friday to win their third consecutive game to start the season.
Wright City (3-0) jumped out to an early lead, scoring 15 points in the first quarter. Nathan Womack caught a 50-yard touchdown pass from Gendron on Wright City's opening drive. The Wildcats added another touchdown on their second drive. Davis caught a 38-yard touchdown pass from Gendron.
Davis returned the opening second half kickoff for a touchdown to extend Wright City's lead to 21-0.
Mark Twain scored a touchdown in the third quarter to pull within 15 points.
