Record Managing EditorOfficials with the Wright City Fire Protection District are looking for feedback from the people they serve. The district is holding a town hall meeting scheduled for Wednesday, April 16, from 7-8 p.m. at the Wil Heiliger Building, located at Diekroeger Park in Wright City. The meeting will feature a PowerPoint and informative materials will be available for attendees. A question-and-answer session will also be held. Refreshments will be served.Input from the district’s residents is needed to help continue moving forward in a positive manner, Fire Chief Ron MacKnight said.“We want (the public’s) input so we can start planning for down the road,” MacKnight said. “We want to be a proactive organization.”MacKnight said the meeting is a continuation of a strategic planning process initiated by the district a couple of years ago. At that time, a handful of community members were brought in to review the district’s services and expectations. Since then, officials determined it would be helpful for a larger audience to provide feedback. The district encompasses approximately 92 square miles in the northeast portion of Warren County and southern portion of Lincoln County.MacKnight said the district wants to make sure residents’ expectations are exceeded.“We want anything that the public can provide us on what they expect,” he said.BREAKOUTWright City Fire Protection District Town Hall MeetingWhen: Wednesday, April 16Where: Wil Heiliger Building, Diekroeger Park, Wright City.Time: 7-8 p.m.Wright City Fire looking for feedback
