The Wright City FFA held a fish fry on March 7 to benefit their organization at the FMB Bank Pavilion in downtown Wright City. They served various fried fish and other sides to passers-by throughout the day before closing down at 6 p.m. that evening.
The fish fry in Wright City was one of several that are being held during Lent around the county, with events being held at Holy Rosary Catholic Parish, The Wright City Food Pantry at Immanuel United Church of Christ, The Knights of Columbus at the St. Ignatius Community Center, St. Patrick’s Church in Jonesburg, the Warrenton VFW Post #2180 and other churches throughout the area.
