Wright City has extended its real estate listing with Tom Shaw Realtors to sell the former Big Boy’s property.Aldermen authorized extending the agreement by six months at their last meeting Jan. 28. The listing is set to expire July 30. The listing agent is Randy Lewis, a Warren County resident. The 2.46-acre property, located at 13200 Veterans Memorial Parkway and the site of the former Big Boys’ restaurant, has been listed for sale since July.Lewis told the board he believes the property is attractive for a commercial developer.“People are calling about it, but are wanting to lease it out,” he said. “It is hard to move commercial property in Warren County. Even when you go to western St. Charles County, it’s not moving.“It’s a prime piece of ground,” he added. “I’m surprised an investor has not jumped on it yet.
