The Wright City Wildcats used four second quarter touchdowns to pull away from Louisiana to win their regular season finale.
Wright City (6-3, 5-2 EMO) beat Louisiana 52-28 to win their Senior Night game.
After taking a 7-0 lead after one quarter on Joey Gendron's 10-yard touchdown run, Wright City scored four touchdowns in the second quarter to take a 33-0 lead into halftime.
Gendron threw two touchdown passes to Kayden Allison and one touchdown pass to Jersiah Higgins in the second quarter. Denzel Dowdy scored on a 1-yard touchdown run earlier in the quarter.
Wright City's Duan McRoberts rushed for two touchdowns in the second half. Carle'on Jones also rushed for a touchdown.
Wright City will compete in the first round of the district tournament next week. The Wildcats' opponent has not been determined.
