The Wright City boys and girls basketball teams both earned wins on the basketball court in the last week.
The Lady Wildcats picked up a 42-40 win over De Soto at the Orchard Farm Tournament. Shiriah McRoberts led Wright City with 17 points. She shot 5-8 from the three point line. McRoberts also led the Lady Wildcats with five rebounds and three assists. Kaedyn Johnson collected 12 rebounds.
Wright City followed up their win with losses to Ritenour and Bowling Green. McRoberts led the Lady Wildcats with nine points in the loss to Ritenour.
The Wright City boys basketball team picked up their first conference win Tuesday with a 58-44 win over Bowling Green. The Wildcats fell to Elsberry 53-50 last week.
Both teams picked up wins Dec. 20 against O'Fallon Christian.
