"As coaches, our co-workers play a great role in determining the success and growth of our players," Moore said. "Whether it is their role as educators and role models in the classroom, or creating programs and organizing Senior Night, collecting money at the gate, working the clock, keeping the scorebook, or just being in the stands as a fan, our staff members help make our roles as coaches, just a bit easier."
Each varsity player has selected a teacher or staff member who has had a positive impact on his or her career, and the 32 teachers will be honored on the court Friday evening.
"This is a unique way for our students to really show their appreciation for their teachers and school staff that help make their educational and athletic environment a positive one," Moore said. "Each player selected a teacher who positively impacted them at some point during their time in Wright City.".
