A High Hill woman pleaded guilty Aug. 6 to possessing methamphetamine and was sentenced to 10 years in prison as a prior drug offender.Warren County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jessica Wilson, 25, on April 12 on drug charges after they found methamphetamine in her wallet during a traffic stop on Main Street in Warrenton. Deputies then obtained a search warrant for her home in the 10000 block of Highway M and found methamphetamine on a digital scale inside the residence. At the time of her arrest, Wilson was on probation for multiple drug charges in 2008, including possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of ephedrine with the intent to make methamphetamine. Wilson pleaded guilty to the charges in October 2008 and was granted probation.A circuit judge revoked her probation a year later after Wilson admitted she had continued to use drugs and refused to get treatment for her addiction. The court sent her to prison for 120 days to receive treatment for substance abuse. Wilson was released from prison in February 2011 and returned to the supervision of a probation officer.Woman Senteced as Prior Drug Offender
