Criminal charges have been filed against a 26-year-old woman who placed a young child on her lap during a February police pursuit, police reported.Mindy L. Johnson, of Mexico, Mo., was recently charged with felony first-degree child endangerment and two misdemeanor charges for marijuana possession and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.The alleged incident occurred Feb. 22, 2015, in Wright City. An officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop in the area of Aster Drive and Clarence and a vehicle Johnson was a passenger in fled at unsafe speeds, according to the probable cause statement. During the pursuit, the officer reported Johnson reached into the back seat and placed a 2-year-old child on her lap. When the vehicle finally stopped, marijuana was located in the car, along with numerous paraphernalia, authorities said.The driver’s name was not revealed in court documents. Crime
