A Hawk Point woman was killed in a one-car crash early the morning of Oct. 23 in Warren County.
Jamie L. Whitman, 38 of Hawk Point, was killed in the crash that occurred at 5:53 a.m., according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
According to the accident report, Whitman was driving her 2012 Chevrolet Malibu on Highway 47 south of Prairie View Road when her vehicle traveled off the west side of the roadway, striking a culvert and a tree.
Her body was taken by the Warren County coroner to Martin Funeral Home. The vehicle was listed as totaled and towed from the scene.
The report indicates that Whitman was not wearing her safety device at the time of the crash.
The Warren County Sheriff's Department assisted at the scene.
