Mr. Frank William Gross, of Warrenton, MO., passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at his home. He was born on May 17, 1929 in Peoria, IL to Willard and Ruth Ann (nee: Ballwin) Gross. Frank had reached the age of 92 years 5 months and 25 days
Frank was united in marriage to Connie Jean Pershall on June 15, 1947 in St. Louis. They celebrated 66 years of marriage before her passing in 2014. To this union, four children were born. Frank had lived in Warren County for over 50 years and during that time he was very involved in the community. He served as the past president of the Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club in the 1980's. He also was an Honorary Knights of Columbus Council 2341 and 11382 and also a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Warrenton. Frank loved his family deeply and enjoyed spending time with them.
Frank William Gross was preceded in death by his loving wife, Connie Jean Gross; his parents, Willard and Ruth Ann Gross; three siblings, Mary Ann Huke, Henry Gross, James Gross; one granddaughter, Megan Nicole Gross; one son in law, Bill Carl; two nephews, Chuck Huke and Michael Gross; one niece, Lisa O'Conner. Those who are grateful for having shared in Frank's life are his children, Deborah Carl, Theresa Russell (Bob), Mark Gross and Daniel Gross; 4 grandchildren, Matt Russell (Lauren), Joe Russell, Bradley Gross, Steve Carl; 4 great grandchildren, Evan, Gabby, Macy, and Hannah; nieces and nephews, Cheryl Thompson, Pam Orth, Judy Felderworth, and Tim Gross; other relatives and many friends.
A visitation for Mr. Frank Gross will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Martin Funeral Home from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM. A visitation will also be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 9:00 AM at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, following with the funeral mass at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at the Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Truesdale.
