William E. Wilson passed away on August 21, 2020, at the age of 88. Bill was born December 22, 1931, in DeSoto, MO to William A. and Martha Wilson nee Reynolds.
Bill married the love of his life, Jeanette Cooke, on April 7, 1962, in St. Louis, MO. Bill enjoyed music, playing piano and guitar, being outdoors canoeing and riding motorcycles, but most of all Bill enjoyed being with his family doing whatever made them happy. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife Jeanette Wilson nee Cooke of Warrenton, MO; son, William D. (Milagro) Wilson of Guymon, OK; two daughters, Laura (Russell) Hutchings of Foristell, MO, Brenda Wilson of Warrenton, MO; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; He is preceded in death by his father, William A. Wilson, mother, Martha Wilson, brother, Robert Wilson, sister, Helen Spiker, sister, Doris Shull.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 25, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, 904 S. Hwy 47 , Warrenton, MO 63383.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 25, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Pitman Funeral Home in Warrenton.
Interment followed the funeral services at the National Cemetery in Jefferson Barracks MO.
