Three Wright City softball players earned first team all-conference and district honors.
Lydia Clubb, Paige Rees and Emma Staats were all named to the EMO Conference first team. Clubb and Rees were both named to the team unanimously. Clubb made the team as an infielder. Rees made the team as a catcher. Staats was named to the first team as a utility player. Sophia Wegrzyn was named to the EMO conference second team as an infielder.
Clubb, Rees and Staats were also named to the Class 3, District 3 first team. They were all named to the district team at the same positions as the EMO conference honors.
A sophomore, Clubb broke the school home run and hits records this season. She led the Lady Wildcats with a .552 batting average. She hit 12 home runs and had 38 RBIs. She also had seven doubles and five triples.
Also a sophomore, Rees led the Lady Wildcats in doubles and was third on the team in batting average. She hit .435 with one home run and 14 RBIs. She had 17 doubles for Wright City.
A junior, Staats finished the season with a .457 batting average. She hit two home runs and had 26 RBIs. She hit seven doubles and four triples.
Wegrzyn finished the season with a .416 batting average. She hit one home run and had 22 RBIs. She added seven doubles.
