An 18-year-old Wentzville teen was seriously injured in a one car crash about 5:30 p.m. Oct. 15 in southern Warren County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report, Ashton H. Winningear was traveling southbound on Highway B north of Missouri 94 when he swerved to avoid hitting a deer.
Swerving caused Winningear's 1999 Chevrolet Suburban to travel off the right side of the road, then return to the road and travel off the left side of the road where it then overturned.
Winningear was taken to Mercy Hospital Washington by the Herman Ambulance District with serious injuries.
The Suburban was listed as totaled and towed from the scene by Patriots Towing.
The crash was the third major crash the Missouri Highway Patrol responded to in Warren County since Friday.
Highway patrol also dealt with two separate accidents on eastbound Interstate 70 on Oct. 13 that involved a total of 15 cars.
