The summer Concerts in the Park series returns this year starting this week with a performance in Warrenton. The community music events are held at different parks in the area, sponsored by the Warren County Fine Arts Council in partnership with local hosts.
This year’s concert series will take place at Dyer Park in Warrenton and Marthasville City Park. Concerts were not scheduled in Wright City or Truesdale this year at the request of the local city governments.
Below is this year’s schedule for Concerts in the Park:
May 21 — Double Down, Dyer Park, Warrenton.
May 28 — Garden Party Band, City Park, Marthasville.
June 11 — Just for S & G, Dyer Park, Warrenton.
June 25 — Melissa Neels, City Park, Marthasville.
July 9 — Aqua-Holics, Dyer Park, Warrenton.
July 23 — Crossfire, City Park, Marthasville.
August 13 — The Baker Family, Dyer Park, Warrenton.
August 27 — Dawgs in the Smokehaus, City Park, Marthasville.
September 24 — Texas Giants, City Park, Marthasville.
Each event will take place from 7-9:30 p.m.
