To The Editor: A letter from a Democrat last week in your newspaper brought a healthy response from several Republicans. I would like to tell them to relax.President Trump has been in office only a few weeks, he’s got plenty of time to break more campaign promises. “Mexico will pay for the wall,” “Hillary is controlled by Wall Street.” Look at his appointments. We can’t forget his campaign manager’s “Bowling Green Massacre,” and of course, his tax return, which you’ll never see, and we must include his Russian buddy. We Democrats also think it’s strange your complaints are in the print media. The lying media, the alternative-fact media, the media that didn’t report Bowling Green. Shouldn’t you be using Twitter, the president’s favored media outlet? You see, we Democrats know we lost and we got over it. We know Democrats voted for this president. We know the popular vote doesn’t matter. We also put up with remarks from Trump and you about President Obama for eight years, so get over it, we’re just getting started. But you’ll only have to put up with us for four years.Rich StrassburgerWarrenton
