Warriors’ Journey Home, a support group for veterans and their loved ones, will meet at 2 p.m. on the second Sunday of each month at the Bridgeway Behavioral Health Center, 1206 East Veterans Memorial Parkway.Healing from the invisible wounds of war is a process requiring patience, honesty and companionship.Warriors’ Journey Home is focused on the unseen wounds of war and military service. Warriors’ Journey Home provides a safe place and honors all beliefs. Members listen without judgment, criticism, advice, diagnosis, platitudes or sympathy. The stories of Warriors’ Journey Home members are listened to with compassion, which means to “suffer/experience with” the person who is speaking.Family members and friends may speak their truth on how military service has impacted them and their families.This year, those Sundays fall on Feb. 11, March 11, April 8, May 13, June 10, July 8, Aug. 12, Sept. 9, Oct. 14, Nov. 11 and Dec. 9.For more information call Dr. Gary J.
