Warrior Ridge Elementary held a friendly competition from Sept. 10-13 between all grade levels to see which grade could bring in the most canned food donations to the Agape Food Pantry.
Agape is a non-profit that provides food services to families in need in Warren County.
The fifth grade won the competition by bringing in 217 canned donations. The whole school raised 800 cans in total. Students from Warrior Ridge were recognized after the end of the first quarter at the home football game at Warrenton High School on Sept. 13.
