Warrenton junior Kannon Hibbs was named to the all district team after earning first team conference honors earlier this summer.
Hibbs was named to the Class 5, District 4 first team. Hibbs collected three hits in three official at-bats in two district tournament games. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He stole one base.
Several Warriors were named to the district’s second team. Troy Anderson earned second team honors at the utility spot. Austin Haas was named to the second team as a catcher. Ben Peth was named to the second team as a pitcher. Caleb Clark and Tyler Oliver were named to the second team as infielders. Joe Goldsmith and Bailey Meyer were named to the second team as outfielders.
Warrenton advanced to the semifinal round of the district tournament. They beat McCluer 15-0 in the quarterfinal round. They lost to St. Dominic 11-1 in the district semifinals. Warrenton finished the season with 15 wins.
